Laag ta! and my sweet lower year crush-friend :)

February 23, 2007

It was already 8:30pm when I got home from this afternoon's little trip at a friends house. Oh my gosh, this is the first time I ever got home late because of watching a movie at a friend's house, a.k.a. laag.

In the end, I decided to go with her after getting p9.50 from our former Geometry teacher, Mr. Lauro Cinco.

Oh yeah before I start talking about the little trip I would like to proudly say that I spent most of my day around my lower year crush. Oh this is why I just love being an MSLC officer! I guess he doesn't have any interest in me as a lover but I think were good friends who love to joke around one another :) .

He really made me curious when he said something about a high score word in the scrabble girls senior division championship game. He said something like how blind I was that I couldn't see that word. I know he would never lend a hand to me at situations like that but I asked for his help and some clues for the word but he never told me. Lol, I was starting to think that he didn't even find any high score word like he's making me believe! Nonetheless, I still love the fact that he really seems comfortable around me. I heard from Ac (Aileen A.) during the YFC youth camp that he's a nerd—the type of person that's so engrossed with studies and one who lacks a social life. But as far as I've seen, he's not like that at all. Actually, compared to my relationship with Ac, my friendship with him is much less painful! (lol, Ac always pinches me… Wawa skin ko sa kanya…). Call him a nerd if you want but he's a fun friend to me.

Something happened in the few minutes that I was away from him. When I got back from watching the championship game in basketball girls b/w our section, St. John, and St. Thomas he showed me this piece of long coupon bond. He said that the dots on it were his blood. I said he seemed anemic or had leukemia to have that colored blood but I didn't really take what he said seriously until I noticed the band-aid on his right hand's pointing finger. In my head I thought "Oh, I'm so sorry about what happened. I so wish I was there to fix it." He said that he hit his finger on a chair. It wouldn't stop bleeding so the band-aid had blood stains over his wound. I can't help but wonder if he has a sickness or something… You know the part of your nails that's attached to your fingers right? That's where the wound was… Ouch, that must've hurt.

Another kilig moment for me today was when he borrowed Hecky's mp3 and shared it with me. Sure I asked him to share it with me in the first place but isn't he nice not to complain at all :D .

Gosh his voice is so different compared to Mark's when he said the scores on the score sheet so I could add them in the calculator. Damn, I just love hearing his voice! Kahit na may "Ate" pang word before and name ko ok lang!

Oh yeah did I say that he tried spelling my name in one of the extra card covers of the medals that were just hanging around the control booth? He stopped at the fourth letter then gave the thing to me, walang "Ate" this time! I wrote his name on the other side. I played with the spelling and got a few laughs out of it—most were my own though :D .

Anyways, later when Sir Cinco asked me to encode the overall scores of the HS days I requested that my lower year crush be the one to read them to me.

It was a tedious task. Nung tumulong rin siya -finally- alam mong ginawa niya para mabilis "kuno" ang trabaho? He closed his palms around one stab and rubbed until each ticket would just fall away from another. Hay… grabe talaga xD. It was quick but I don't think that was such a good idea.

I found something interesting about him today. It was the first time his mom picked him up for lunch and in the afternoon he said that his mom was already waiting for him. Isn't it weird? I guess I shouldn't jump to conclusions—my lower year crush doesn't really seem like it but maybe.. like Chidi, my elementary crush, my lower year crush now is well.. also a mama's boy? haha, is it really my tendency to fall for those kind of guys? Haha, bahala na lang. Oh, after today, I can't help but wish that he was a 4th year student instead… Kung pwede, sana siya na lang nga ang date ko sa senior's ball! xD Matalino na, mabait na, gwapo na, cute na, respectful na at joker pa! Ano pa bang hahanapin ko!

Anyways, next topic, I ought to talk about this afternoon's little trip too. As I was saying, Glenda and I went to Swaky's house nearby to watch a movie and do some bonding. When we got there I was a little surprised at how few our numbers were. There was just Swaky, Jay-R, Bugs, Sang, Se, Chay2x, Dhal, Dendy (Glenda D.) and me? I guess it wasn't such a crowd but yeah, it was a little fun. At first I was busy trying to watch the movie while they were talking about random stuff but later on, they became quiet and focused on the movie too. The movie we watched was entitled "Lady in the Water." I'll admit that though it wasn't that scary it made me jump up and run 3 times. Haha, my friends joked about what I did too. I guess I'm really not as brave as my sister, Ate Star, when it comes to shows.

Here's a brief summary of the movie done with absolutely no research at all for my part xD:
Story is a gnarf (water fairy) who has been chosen to become the Madam gnarf. Now, there is this monster named a scrunch that doesn't want her to become the Madam gnarf. The setting is at this apartment governed by Mr. Heap. To become the Madam gnarf Story must get picked up by this eagle who in the span of the story, could only try to get to her twice. The first time Story tried to go with the eagle she was attacked by the scrunch. Supposed to be there were these thwachis (whatever), who looked like monkeys and are damn evil but totally respected and obeyed because of their power (they had rules too), that were to protect her from the scrunch. For some reason though, when the scrunch attacked her at the eagle's first try to pick her up the thwachis didn't try to protect her. So now it was up to Mr. Heap and his tenants to protect Story from the scrunch as she gets picked up by the eagle.

It was a really interesting story but I wasn't really that impressed with the graphic effects. The scrunch was a heck of a lot scary though as it resembled a wolf with fierce twiglike grayish-silvery fur and red eyes. The plot twists really had me going and watching till the end. If you're looking for a refreshing plot to the genre of horror fantasy movies, then here's a show that you've just gotta watch :) .

After the movie we decided to go home. I was the one who was dropped off at my house last. The driver told me that I would get scolded for wandering but when I got home my mom didn't seem to be the tiniest bit mad. She told me to text her next time I decide to come home late though. I will.. don't worry :) .

Oh yeah, did I mention that I was champion in the scrabble girls senior division today? I get another medal, yay! :D

it’s a good thing blogs are so “in” these days — you get to keep an online memento of all the yummy portions of your life. and usually the best period to rave about is your teenage stage. i miss those days…

yeah….

haha, I sometimes regret not having all this fun during my lower years but I’m glad it’s not too late for me to have them still… :)

Don’t get so bummed by your age! Everyone has to grow up. At least you still have your memories to miss and look back on..
