Hey there, Shin here to update you on the development of our batch website, JLMM '07. For your convenience, here's link to what I'm talking about: jlmm07.freehostia.com.
It's still under construction and will be so for the next few weeks since I don't really have much time to attend to it. Althought tonight I think I've made a pretty good discovery.
Tada! CuteNews.RU — a CMS derived from the CuteNews at cutephp that does NOT have the "Powered by CuteNews" link at the bottom! I'm so glad I found it!
I installed it to our batch website a few minutes ago. It's only been a while but I've already encountered a few problems:
- I have yet to know how to set it to have http://jlmm07.freehostia.com as the index or homepage.
- When I did manage to do the above mentioned the redirection went all screwey and now I can't go to the post's permalink.
I really think I should've gone with the mySQL installation instead of the txtSQL. You see, I wanted to try having my site use just flat files instead of the mySQL database. It sounded like a great idea at first but I see now that it would've been better if I had just gone with the mySQL.
Huh… maybe I should reinstall it and go with the mySQL this time…
An update on Glenda, I heard she would be back by tomorrow, yahoo! 
She had the back of her head injured thus, the hospitalization but it didn't sound critical naman. I don't really know much of the details but if she's able to come back this soon then it might've not been as bad an accident as I thought it was although Dhal did mention Glenda's face and feet being bandaged all over… Lol, can't wait to see the photos they took! ^o^
Another update, this time, in regards with this website. I cleaned up and decreased the number of tags. It was a tedious task having to edit the posts one-by-one but I guess it's worth it. The tags aren't as few as in Car's blog but I think they're just right since I really do have that many topics here. It should do. I hope you like them!
